Fly Away Birthday

Hi, sharing a card made for my brother .... he's next youngest from me and his birthday always reminds me how old I'm getting....and that in the fall I will celebrate a big milestone birthday ... EEEEKKK!! Ok on to the card
I started with a background stamped with the two planes from PTI's Fly Away - my little bro is an airplane mechanic and loves all things aviation.
I used mat stack 3 and the co-ordinating stamp set stamped in pure poppy ink...and some fun banners from banner builder set.
The number were taken from my latest PTI box, and cut with some sizzix numbers dies. I went them through twice, slightly shifted the second time to really rough up the edges.
I really like the way this card turned out, it's great when a card is so perfect for the recipient!

  2. I really like how youused the little airplanes to make the background paper - clever idea. Good to know that the number dies fit so nicely into the circle part of the Mat Stack 3.

  4. What a fun card! I love the planes flying across the background. My airplane stamp has yet to see ink. Poor stamp. I love the two waving banners as well. Nifty touch. Again, great card.
